Joseph Cohen is a Director at Tri State Commercial Realty. Joseph is a born and bred New Yorker who always had a passion for the Real Estate Market. 

Mr. Cohen began his career at Kassin Sabbagh Realty on their investment sales team, where he learned how to properly evaluate properties, understand an asset’s income, and what makes a good deal. From there, Mr. Cohen went on to a more boutique firm specializing in Commercial Leasing and Sales. While there, he completed multiple transactions across the New York and New Jersey areas in both leasing and sales where he gained an understanding of all sides of the market.

Most recently Mr. Cohen was the Leasing Manager at a rapidly expanding urgent care provider throughout the East Coast. Mr. Cohen handled the site selection, lease negotiation process, and market analysis for the company. Being on the tenants’ side gave Mr. Cohen a chance to be in the tenants’ shoes and understand what a tenant thinks and looks for in a space. Mr. Cohen has gained knowledge from all sides of the market being in both Investment Sales and Commercial Leasing, as well as being on the tenants’ side of transactions. Mr. Cohen’s knowledge will only continually grow throughout his career. 

Mr. Cohen graduated from the CUNY School of Professional Studies with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business. Mr. Cohen is always looking to continually grow in all facets of life. In his free time, he likes to give back to his community and spend time with family and friends.
