Woodstack Fashion Shop Outpost in Hello Living Brooklyn Development

Brooklyn-based Woodstack, a boutique fashion shop, will open a new location at Hello Living’s mixed-use development in Prospect Lefferts Gardens, Commercial Observer has learned.

The apparel retailer signed a lease for 7,500 square feet, the entire retail portion, of the 35-unit luxury rental development at 1357 Flatbush Avenue, according to information from Eli Karp’s Hello Living.

Shlomi BagdadiAvi Akiva and Chandler Slate of TriState Commercial Real Estate Services brokered the deal on behalf of both the landlord and tenant.

Woodstack, which was founded in 2011, has eight locations in total, including the six in Brooklyn. In addition to clothing, shoes and accessories, Tony Forte, a partner at Woodstack, said the new location will also offer custom wood and metalwork, according to information from TriState.

“Woodstack is truly excited about opening our sixth retail post in Brooklyn, where we introduced our first boutique back in 2011,” Forte said in a prepared statement.

The 48,000-square-foot Hello Living property is currently under development. The building will be ready for residential occupancy in the spring of this year, and Woodstack is scheduled to open in April, according to a spokeswoman for the company.

The TriState brokers did not reply to request for comment.
