Tri State Commercial Realty is featured in the New York Business Journal article Surf Market signs 10-year lease in Brooklyn.
The shop is expected to open in six to eight months in a new building that was completed last summer.

The 10,000-square-foot space, located on the ground floor of 1921 Surf Ave. in Coney Island, will feature a ready-to-eat food section, a juice bar and a home goods section. Asking rent was $38 per square foot. Tri State Commercial Realty’s Fredy Halabi and Moshe Akiva represented both Surf Market and L+M Development Partners, the landlord, on the deal. “This is a bigger step to redeveloping Coney Island and making it less of a seasonal neighborhood and more of an all-year-round neighborhood,” Akiva said.
