Multifamily developer Hello Living has secured the company’s first commercial retail tenant at its Hello Flatbush property in Brooklyn. Woodstack, an inner-city fashion boutique that launched in the borough in 2011, will be occupying the 7,500-square-foot space located at Flatbush Avenue and Foster Avenue.

This lease marks Woodstack’s eighth retail outpost and sixth Brooklyn location. The 15-year lease was brokered by Sunny Singh, Woodstack’s president, in conjunction with Shlomi Bagdadi, Avi Akiva and Chandler Slate, all of TriState Commercial Real Estate Services, representing both Hello Living and Woodstack.

“Woodstack embodies the same core principles as our company, which include our proud Brooklyn roots, and drawing inspiration from the vibrant neighborhoods we call home,” said Eli Karp, Hello Living’s founder and CEO. “We are proud to work with Woodstack as they transform the space into their own.”

Construction on the new space is underway and is scheduled for completion next month.
