Consulate of the Dominican Republic signs lease in Washington Heights

Tri State Commercial Realty is featured in the New York Business Journal article Consulate of the Dominican Republic signs lease in Washington Heights.
The Consulate General of the Dominican Republic has snagged a space along Amsterdam Avenue in Washington Heights, one of the city’s largest Dominican-American enclaves. The 8,000-square-foot space is on the fourth floor of 2410 Amsterdam Ave., between West 179th and 180th streets.

The asking price was $35 per square foot. Tri-State Commercial Realty’s Dov Bleich, who also leads the brokerage’s Bronx operations, and Zach Tretton represented both the Consulate and building ownership. “The space will be a cultural hub to educate and connect the community with Dominican culture, but will also be a satellite consulate for the local community, Dominican Republic native and citizens visiting the United States,” Bleich told the New York Business Journal.
