Kill Devil: House of Dark Spirits inks a 10-year lease for 3,000 RSF retail space at 292 Bedford Ave.
According to The Real Deal, tenants are hesitant to lease commercial space in Williamsburg due to the impending L train shutdown. TRD reported a 13 percent vacancy rate after researchers checked on the nearly 600 buildings, finding 105,000 square feet of vacancies.
The landlord of the prime location at Bedford Ave and Grand St approached Shlomi Bagdadi of Tri State Commercial Realty in early December and was highly satisfied from the results, despite the rising concerns of Williamsburg’s retail vacancies; Tri State Commercial negotiated a lease for a previously, french-themed restaurant. The 3,000 RSF space includes 1,500 RSF on the ground floor, 1,500 RSF cellar and 14 beer taps among many other features. The restaurant also features custom made brass/cast iron elements and granite top tables.

The 1980s themed cocktail bar is bound to give customers a modern taste of a classic bar. In addition, the bar owners plan on inviting live Jazz musicians to perform a few nights throughout the week. Kill Devil: House of Dark Spirits revealed their soft opening date is scheduled for March 1st, 2018.
Jaime and Vincent have established a team of expert mixologists and hope to become Williamsburg’s favorite new bar. Vincent said, “I’ve been in the restaurant and bar business for 21 years and it’s always been a dream of mine to open my own bar.” Both partners aim to bring a quality “city bar” to Brooklyn.
“My experience with the Tri State Commercial Realty team was excellent. Jacob and Chandler were very helpful and professional. It was a very nice transaction and they didn’t waste our time,” Jaime mentioned.

The name is a reference to rum-running pirates, and in honor of that name, they will have over 100 rums in stock.”
