Brooklyn, NY – Transport Workers Union of America (TWU) purchased a 1,200 RSF commercial condo at 2619 Emmons Ave.

Property Type: Commercial Condo
Total Space Rented: 1,200 RSF
Building Size: 103,474 SF
Complete Address: 2619 Emmons Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11235

TWU was founded in 1934 by Michael J. Quill during the height of the great depression. Quill was determined to fight back against companies who were taking advantage of employees by underpaying them, overworking them, or mistreating staff.

As the economy began to make progress, so did TWU. The union expanded its reach outside of New York and began to organize transit and railroad workers in cities across the country.

Fast forward to present day, the Transport Workers have branched past transit rights and have fought for the employee rights of casino workers in Los Vegas, health departments, museum curators and many more!

The office condo can be found in Sheepshead Bay’s culturally diverse neighborhood. Sheepshead Bay is known for its fresh and scrumptious seafood provided by highly rated restaurants such as Randazzo’s Clam Bar, Opera Cafe Lounge, and Rocca Cafe & Lounge.

Located a few blocks from the Q train at the Sheepshead Bay station. One block from the B4, B44, and BM3 bus service.

Congratulations to Tri State Commercial’s amazing agent Vlad Kotsek!
