Brooklyn, NY—Shlomi Bagdadi, founder of Tri State Commercial Realty, inks a lease with The Learning Experience.
The Learning Experience (TLE) was founded by the Weissman family in 1980, their flagship location in Boca Raton, FL.
The Weissman family built TLE on the educational principles of “learn, play, and grow.” Meaning, each child “graduates with exceptional core academic skills”; learns how to engage with others in a controlled and safe environment where healthy activities | lifestyle is encouraged.
Equally, TLE strengthens the kids’ mannerisms by teaching them respectful behavior and the importance of sharing and giving.
In partnership with TLE in-house broker Nick Vanella, who represented the tenant; Bagdadi exclusively represented the landlord.
Bagdadi describes the transaction as “trying”. He goes on to say, “national tenants, like TLE, have a specific vision in mind when it comes to size, build-outs, test-fits, etc. So you have to keep that in mind when you’re trying to pair the tenant with the perfect location.”
Bagdadi was able to negotiate with the educational institution for their ideal location at 185 Marcy Ave, landing a 15-year lease and leasing 11,500 RSF.
This will be TLE‘s fourth Brooklyn location and their first venture into Williamsburg. The school currently has an enrollment of 150 students with the opening date to be announced.
